help texas deca create the difference and brighten the lives of children across the state!
We ask that Texas DECA chapters collect coloring books and crayons to be donated to organizations across the state for distribution. Items will be donated to fire stations, refugee homes, and police stations across the state to be used as comfort items for children in endangered or high stress situations. Coloring books and crayons are an accessible resource donation because they are cheaper in price, more durable, and useful for all ages.
HOW WILL IT WORK?
Chapters will host donation drives to collect coloring books/crayons OR host fundraisers and purchase coloring books/crayons with the proceeds.
Chapters will bring all coloring books/crayons with them to their District Career Development Conference in January.
Benefiting organizations in your area will attend the District Career Development Conference to receive the donations! Benefiting organizations for each district will be listed below as they are confirmed.

We encourage our chapters to collect coloring books and crayons throughout the Fall Semester and prepare to bring them to your District Career Development Conference in January.
Donations will be collected at each District Career Development Conference.

RAISE FUNDS
Chapters can participate in Texas DECA’s Statewide Community Service Project by hosting a fundraising event and using all proceeds to purchase coloring books and crayons to be donated at your District Career Development Conference.
