Madelyne Onstott - VP of Social Media
Madelyne Onstott is honored to serve as Texas DECA’s Vice President of Social Media for the 2017-2018 term; Madelyne attends the Business Management and Entrepreneurship Academy at V.R. Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas and graduates in the class of 2019.
Madelyne is actively involved with organizations such as National Honor Society, Met Youth Ministries, National Speech and Debate Association, Texas Forensic Association, RTSWS, Eaton Players Theatre, and DECA chapter within her school, business academy and community.
As a freshman, Madelyne became an active member of the BME DECA chapter in its inaugural year and since has held the officer position of VP Social Media. She has been an advocate for the program encouraging others to join and informing Northwest ISD board of trustees and district sponsors about the benefits DECA offers. Networking with new students, competing in business events and giving speeches in front of thousands of people inspire Madelyne to grow with DECA.
Due to influences of working with her parents businesses, BME academy instruction and the DECA organization, Madelyne has developed a passion for business and entrepreneurship, thus wanting to pursue a career and degree in finance, marketing and entrepreneurship. Currently Madelyne is undecided on which college she wants to attend and she’s excited to see what her future may bring.
Madelyne loves and excels at public speaking, design and leadership. She is passionate about sharing those traits with others and helping them reach their maximum potential. Madelyne is thrilled to be a part of this year’s Texas DECA State Officer team and she is confident that Texas DECA will exceed expectations.
