Statewide service project - 2019

Texas DECA is challenging our local chapters to share how they participated in raising awareness for Childhood Cancer. We want to see how you marketed the service project to your members, campus and community through the following mediums:

  •  Social Media Campaign

  • Public Service Announcement

  • Awareness Event


  • Chapters may enter one submission for each of the three media categories

  • All submissions are due by December 18, 2019 at 11:59 PM CST

  • Submissions should be made through


  • Submissions will be evaluated by the Texas DECA State Officers and industry leaders

  • Individuals will score entries based on content, creativity, organization, team participation, and overall impression

  • Once the votes are tallied, an overall score will be calculated

  • If a State Officer’s Chapter submits an entry in that category, they will not score that category


  • Top submissions will be recognized at the State CDC Grand Awards Ceremony and presented with a trophy on stage

  • All chapters that participate will receive a ribbon at State CDC

  • Social media highlights, Videos, and Flyers may be featured on
