Marandy Burrow is the Texas DECA Vice President of Leadership Development, and she is currently a senior at Pittsburg High School. Through being an active Texas DECA member, Marandy has had remarkable opportunities to serve as a chapter officer, complete a successful term as the District VI Vice President of Campaigns, be re-elected as the District VI President, and attend ICDC as a Voting Delegate. Furthermore, she has played an integral role in strengthening the business connections between the Pittsburg DECA chapter and her community.
In addition to DECA, Marandy is involved in a variety of additional student organizations. She is a majorette, member of the band, class officer, student body officer, S.M.I.L.E. Committee Leader, and participates in many local community service projects.
After high school, Marandy hopes to attend Texas Christian University or the University of Texas at Austin and major in international business. She plans to work as an international marketing manager or an executive.
Marandy is a firm believer in the fact that DECA provides vital skills and networking opportunities to its thousands of members, and she hopes to give back to this great organization by contributing her time, leadership, and hard work!
