Jamie treadwell - VP of media
Jamie Maverick Treadwell is the Vice President of Media for Texas DECA and is a junior at Christoval High School. Along with DECA, Jamie is involved in many extracurricular activities, the first of which being 4-H. In the 4-H cooking challenge, Jamie and his team have placed second at the State Fair, first at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo twice, second at the Houston Stock Show and Rodeo, and twice qualified for state. Jamie is also on the Varsity Tennis Team and has placed first with his mixed doubles partner in many tournaments, hopeful to attend state this year. Along with these accomplishments, Jamie is also involved with his church youth group, UIL, FFA, One Act Play, and FCA.
Jamie plans to attend either Texas A&M University or Texas Tech in the fall of 2019. He hopes to someday become a successful lawyer, following in his mother’s footsteps. Outside of school, Jamie can either be found at home watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, or on the tennis courts working on his game.
DECA is extremely important to Jamie. He plans to involve his role as VP of Media to help DECA reach larger audiences, raise awareness and advocate for Texas DECA, as well as keeping current members informed. Jamie believes that DECA is truly like no other and hopes to help Texas DECA reach new heights this 2018-2019 school year.
