The addition of Johnnie to our team also brought the move to a new office space. However, we are continuing to use the PO Box for all mailings for security and stability. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Note that times will be extended during peak seasons of the DECA calendar (membership deadlines, registration weeks, testing, and conferences).

Advisor/Teacher Input Needed
One of our advisors is working on her dissertation research and needs input from business, marketing, finance, and accounting teachers. Resource Updates
The Texas DECA Fact Sheet, Scavenger Hunt, and Texas DECA Calendar have all been updated and are online on the Advisor Resources page. We are continuing to update resources over the next few weeks, with the goal of making many items editable and easy-to-use for you and your chapter officers. Speaking of chapter officers, we want to connect them with our District and State Officer teams. Please direct your chapter leaders to fill out this quick contact form:

Membership Site Now Open
The membership system has now been rolled over, allowing you to register your members for this school year. A few of you may notice a new financial block this year as DECA has tied in the Shop DECA and tours balances to this site, in addition to membership dues. If you are on financial block and need additional information or documentation, please call 703-860-5000 and they will direct either to data management or Shop DECA.

If your financial block is for unpaid membership dues you will be receiving a separate invoice from us next week for the State portion of dues. DECA’s invoice is only for the National Dues portion.

Enjoy the weekend!
