To try something new with communications this year, I will be sending out an email at the end of each month with links to that month’s past emails, dates of note for the upcoming month, and a few key updates for you.

  • For the third year in a row your District Directors are sponsoring the online practice testing for all chapters. As a reminder, this resource allows each member the opportunity to practice on more than 40 different DECA exams, from any device, anywhere, any time. For Free. Those looking for testing resources, this is it!

    How do you access this? The day after you submit your membership – submit, they don’t have to be paid just yet – I will upload your students into the system. They will then take their membership ID and the password assigned to your District to log-in. Step-by-step instructions are located on the District pages of

  • A note from our State Officers: We hope you had an incredible summer and have enjoyed meeting new students these first few weeks of school. Last year, the State Officers started a monthly email to our members, and we aim to continue that this year. This newsletter contains competition resources, campaign updates, chapter tools and much more.   • Texas DECA is looking for competitive event sponsors this year. If you have any contacts that may be interested in sponsoring one or more events, please send them our way. Attached is our one-page flyer for competitive event sponsors. For each lead that turns into an actualized sponsor, your chapter will receive a brand new DECA blazer.
